Year 5 had a visit from some scientists who work as part of the project 'Widening Participation and Outreach' from Surrey University.  Their goal is to spread scientific awareness to younger students to encourage them to consider science as a subject to study later in life.  The children were testing 'how clean is my classroom' by taking swabs around the class. They are then due to examine the results at the lab at Surrey University next week - will they like what they find?
